Equestrianista Photo Shoot: Finding the Perfect Equestrian Style Location

To capture the elegant, yet equestrian style-vibe of our Spring 2015 line, we scoured the local countryside for the perfect photo shoot locale. Then…we found it! The enchanting ambiance, easily found inspiration, and charming character of McEachran Homestead Winery proved, as suspected, to be the perfect backdrop for our horse-inspired pieces that celebrate our equestrian lifestyle. This Sesquicentennial Farm brings back fond memories of riding my horse down its winding, pebble country road as a young girl. Now as an adult, it’s my favorite place to spend a weekend afternoon with friends enjoying a glass of fantastic, local wine!
THE LOCATION
Upon walking into the loft of the barn, I noticed several spaces that had the timeless ambiance we were looking for. The lighting changed as you moved around the loft, and that worked to our advantage for the different pieces we were shooting. It was amazing how all of the elements pulled together, naturally creating the look we were going for.
Our model worked her way around the charming 180 year old barn’s loft. The old beams of the restored barn were the perfect backdrop, highlighting the subtle elegance of this latest collection. Not only the barn, but also the grounds were simply beautiful, every single corner of this winery seems to have a story to tell.
